Magic Wheel Festival will take place at the stunning, private estate, Kincardine Castle and Estate, 20 miles outside of Aberdeen. The address is the following: Kincardine Castle & Estate, Kincardine O Neil, AB34 5AE, Aberdeenshire. GETTING THERE EVENT BUSES The best and greenest way to get to the event. We shall be providing a full bus service taking a majority of ticket holders to and from the event. Tickets shall be priced at £10-£12 return from central Aberdeen locations, tickets for this can be found via the link below: https://minival.eventcube.io/
CAR, TAXI AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS Entry to the event will be separate for non bus ticket holders, with access to the car park and the taxi drop off point described below!! On maps, head to Kincardine O Neil, and look for relevant signage.. We strongly advise making travel arrangements in advance such as taxis and public transport. - 93 North Deeside Road from Aberdeen to Perth via Braemar runs through Kincardine O’Neil. - A980 From Banchory to Alford – runs through Torphins B993 From Torphins to A93 at point about 1 mile east of Kincardine O’Neil. - From 93 North Deeside road, in Kincardine O Neil, Look for signs indicating taxi and public access routes. Bus and public routes will be separated! -- Access to the car park pedestrian entrance and taxi drop off point will be via the U26M Road.
Food and Drink
What type of food is available at the festival? Vegetarian, meat, fish, smoothies, shakes, wraps, we’ve got you covered. Check out our ‘Food’ section to see what our great street food vendors have in stock to tempt and tantalise your taste buds. Can I bring my own food and alcohol into the festival? Strictly No. This is a fully licensed event and no other drinks or alcohol will be allowed on site. You are not allowed to bring any alcohol in the main festival site. Bins are provided at the gates to dispose of any items. Will the food and drink be reasonably priced? Yes. We make a special effort to keep our prices competitive with what you'd expect at an event like this. What time does the bar open? SATURDAY: 12:00 - 2230
OPENING TIMES Minival 10 - The Castle Party opens on Saturday 12th May, with box office opening at 12:00 and music commencing at 12:00. Gates close at 17:00, the same time as last entry. Upon arrival you will be directed to the Box Office. Please bring ID, driving license or passport to confirm your identity. Entry will not be granted to the festival if you do not arrive within the Box Office hours listed below:
BOX OFFICE HOURS Saturday 12th may - 11am - 5pm.
E-TICKETS Upon successful payment of your ticket you will receive an E-Ticket. Please print this out, or have a barcode ready on your phone and bring it with you. Do not rely on showing your phone as 4G / 3G is limited on site. TICKET REFUNDS We do not offer refunds for ticket purchases unless the event is cancelled in which case we will refund the ticket price minus the booking fee and any other charges which we cannot recover. This is fully outlined in our Terms & Conditions during purchase and is an industry-wide standard.
GROUP TICKETS Group ticket attendees must all enter together with the named ticket holder. However at the festival's discretion the primary ticket holder can provide a copy of their official ID (passport or driving license) and pass this onto the non-named ticket holders. minival is not held responsible for this, and the decision lies with our security and box office team.
TICKET RESALES We do not support the resale of tickets outside of our official channels. To resale tickets use the resell option on Resident Advisor. Unlawful resale of a ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation. Bear in mind that e-tickets can be duplicated, the purchase of second hand tickets is strongly discouraged. We will not be held responsible for any issues on the door if the primary ticket holder is not present.
SECURITY Your safety is our utmost concern. Our priority is, and always will be, making people safe at minival. We are in constant consultation with the local police force, council and our own security experts as we carry on with preparations for minival 10 - the castle party 2018. We have taken on board feedback from last year and worked hard to iron out any kinks. The festival perimeter, arenas, backstage and offsite areas are all robustly controlled and managed by professional security personnel. All our security staff are fully trained and licensed to meet rigorous SIA (Security Industry Authority) standards and the company we use are ACS accredited. If you see anything suspicious please report it to them Upon arrival everyone will be processed by our security team before entry is granted to enter the site. Vehicle checks are mandatory for everyone. Please bear in mind that all aerosol based products are not permitted on site. Banned items include; spray on anti-perspirant, dry shampoo, spray on glitter, lighter gas, spray paint and strictly no nitrous oxide. Other banned items include hammers, tools, knives including Leatherman / Swiss Army style tools, acid based cleaning products, marker pens and gas canisters.
VEHICLES AND TRANSPORT
Minival 10 is located deep in the Aberdeenshire countryside. All vehicles access the site via a bumpy farm track; leave the sports cars at home! CAN I PARK MY CAR AT MINIVAL 10? Yes you can! Car parking is available at minival 10. All drivers must buy a car park pass, priced at £10 per vehicle, upon arrival. Motorbikes can park for £5. follow directions when reaching kincardine o neil. CAN I RE ENTER THE FESTIVAL? You can leave the festival and return, but you will have to buy another car park pass.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE? Strictly 18+. Please bring official proof of age to guarantee entry (driving license or passport).
CAN I TAKE OR SELL DRUGS? Absolutely not! All illegal drugs are strictly banned at Farr Festival. This includes nitrous oxide aka laughing gas. If we suspect any unlawful usage or dealing of drugs at Farr Festival then our security staff will detain you and will pass you over to the local police force. Be smart – Check to see how drugs effect your body HERE.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Anything you want! The more creative the better!! However do take into account how quickly the Scottish weather can change for the worst, so we strongly encourage waterproofs as insurance.
WILL CASH MACHINES BE ON SITE? There will be no ATMS on site but you will be able to pay via card at our bars and some food outlets
WHAT HAPPENS IF I FALL ILL? We have fully qualified medics on site. However please remember to bring all medications with you if you have an existing condition.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOOSE MY THINGS AT MINIVAL? All unclaimed items found at Minival will be delivered to the event control office. Email firstname.lastname@example.org starting Monday 14th MAY 2018, with a description of what you've lost. If we can locate the item we will return the item to you. You will be required to pay for postage and packaging. We will keep hold of lost items until Monday 21st may 2018.
